Project Keep Warm

Project Keep Warm provides hats, mittens and blankets to school children in The Dalles, Mosier and Dallesport. The project has already produced 2,000 hats and 300 other items this season. Your donations of yarn are greatly needed to continue this project. For more information call Sue at (541) 298-2937.

Volunteers Needed

The Southwest Washington Chapter of the American Red Cross is looking for people to be trained to assist victims of a house fire. If you are interested in taking the training and being part of a Disaster Action Team please contact Janet Holen at 493-3576 or holen@gorge.net.

Catlink is looking for additional volunteers as they are expanding their Trap, Neuter and Release (TNR) program for feral and homeless cats. WGAP offers a variety of programs and services to provide for the ongoing emergency and crisis needs of both low and moderate-income individuals and families. Second Hand Rose

A community resource store offers clothing, household items, and furniture at very reasonable prices. Vouchers are available for individuals or families who have no resources.
